Gollapudi is a village in Krishna district located to the west of Vijayawada . The population according to 2001 census is 17,845.
Ayyappa Temple is one of the Famous temple and first Ayyappa temple in AP.
Climate
Gollapudi and the surrounding areas experience high temperature. The mean daily maximum temperature is 37 °C, while minimum is 27.7 °C in this region. The temperature begins to rise in mid February and May is the hottest month, when temperature reaches even up to 45°C. December and January are usually the months with the lowest. Gollapudi is called as master plan city.
